PVC White Foodsafe Laminate

Advantages:

Disadvantages:

  • A range of finishes on the market and they do not all match each other

PET

Advantages:

  • Easy to clean
    Resistant to chemicals and detergents
    Robust
    Safe for food contact

Disadvantages:

  • Less consistent colour matching and more expensive

Polyester

Advantages:

  • Easy to clean
  • Resistant to chemicals and detergents
  • Robust
  • Safe for food contact

Disadvantages:

  • Less consistent colour matching and more expensive

Stainless Steel

Advantages:

  • Very robust
  • Strong
  • Corrosion resistant against strong chemicals

Disadvantages:

  • Some variation in brush finish
  • Not 100% scratch resistant

Powder Coated Aluminium

Advantages:

  • Very low surface resistivity, normally falling in the ‘static dissipative’ range
  • Very light weight (approximately half the weight of steel)

Disadvantages:

  • Gloss level and colour variation from batch to batch
