Gilcrest’s longest serving Specialist Metalworker takes on a Firewalk for National Star charity
Gilcrest Manufacturing’s longest serving Specialist Metalworker has bravely completed a sponsored Firewalk in aid of the charity National Star, raising over £300 for the charity.
A huge crowd gathered to watch on as a number of fearless individuals, including our own Gilcrest team member, walked barefoot over coal embers that had been heated up to around 669 Celsius or 1,236 Fahrenheit.
The firewalk event was in aid of National Star, a charity based in Cheltenham, which enables young people with disabilities to realise their potential through specialist education and learning whilst offering transition services, accommodation and care.
Congratulations from everyone at Gilcrest Manufacturing on your achievement and thanks to everyone who donated to sponsor our team member.
