Cleanroom Ceiling Package

A confidential biopharmaceutical client required a cleanroom ceiling package for its facility in Bulle, Switzerland, with ARS Global and Asgard Reinraum AG. The project marked Asgard’s first collaboration with Gilcrest in Switzerland and formed the first phase of a larger programme at the site. Working with a new partner on a specialist controlled environment project called for close technical coordination.

Project Details

Requirement

The project required a 218 m² (within a total area of 460m²) cleanroom ceiling package for a specialist pharmaceutical environment, with several interface details coordinated before manufacture. The layout needed 66 ceiling apertures and several panels with additional reinforcement bars to meet the structural design. A complete suspension package was required, prepared for quick site installation, with WFSL cover strips to match the panel face. Asgard also needed technical support through their first project with Gilcrest.

Solution

Gilcrest supplied a coordinated ceiling panel and suspension package, aligning panel scope, aperture details, reinforcement and hanger specification as a single system ahead of installation. The technical team worked directly with Asgard during the early stages, covering the design and installation requirements of the system. This gave Asgard a clear route
through the technical aspects of their first Gilcrest project.

Results

The finished package delivered a complete, coordinated cleanroom ceiling system suited to the controlled environment requirements of the client, and established a strong foundation for Gilcrest’s ongoing involvement in the project as it moves into its next phase.

Testimonial

""From our first technical discussions with the Gilcrest team in December through to delivery in February, the level of support we received was excellent. The coordination was clear, the advice was practical, and the finished package arrived ready for installation. A strong start to what we hope will be a long partnership.""
